I started my photo loving craft when I was in middle school. I took photos of this boy I had a crush on with my mom’s 110 film polaroid brand camera. Yeah I know! Old school film. Film that was only 17mm long! Well that camera is long gone but my love for film photography remains. So I am a hybrid photographer who shoots with grandfather’s old 1960s Polaroid instant film camera as well as my Canon digital camera. I didn’t take photography seriously as a career until after high school. In college I learned the beauty and art of photography, from the dark room to digital editing. To mold my creative perspective, I expanded my artistic education in video, painting, drawing and sculpting. All of those art forms has a unique impact on how I shoot and edit.

I am not a trendy photographer. I like to keep all weddings and portraits as it is seen in real time so I keep my colors true. True color in a photograph is what keeps it timeless. I love creating with others, especially when I can be on top of a mountain, in the Sequoia trees or simply walking on the red rocks in Utah. There are so many stunning places in the world and I consider myself lucky to have a career where I can combine what I adore most into a simple, timeless photograph. So if you think I am your gal to capture your big day, let’s chat over ice cream and start planning our next adventure, together.
