I started my photo loving craft when I was in middle school. I took photos of this boy I had a crush on with my mom’s 110 film polaroid brand camera. Yeah I know! Old school film. Film that was only 10mm long! Well that camera is long gone but my love for film photography remains. So I am a hybrid photographer who shoots with grandfather’s old 1960s Polaroid instant film camera as well as my Canon digital camera. I didn’t take photography seriously as a career until after high school. In college I learned the beauty and art of photography, from the dark room to digital editing. To mold my creative perspective, I expanded my artistic education in video, painting, drawing and sculpting. All of those art forms has a unique impact on how I shoot and edit. I am not a trendy photographer. I like to keep your wedding and portraits as it is seen in real time! Color is the absolute beauty about a wedding alongside the adorable couple in them. True color in a photograph makes an image timeless! I love creating with others, especially when we can climb to the top of a mountain, hike through the Sequoia Forest or simply walk through Arches National Park. I feel lucky to have a career where I can combine the outdoors with human connection into a simple, timeless photograph.
